Built for the Bangladesh education context
Local institutions rarely fit neatly into foreign templates. Sections and classes, roll numbering, exam sequences, monthly fee collection, administrative reporting and guardian communication all follow local rhythms.
SchoolZee is therefore designed with schools, madrasas, kindergartens and coaching centres considered separately, and the free products are kept simple in line with local habits.
Mobile-first simplicity
Heads have little desk time and teachers have little free time, but almost everyone has a phone at hand. The core tasks are therefore designed to be done from a phone: taking attendance, sending notices, checking student information and seeing fee status.
The same account opens on desktop too, so those who prefer a large screen for accounts and reports are covered as well. Fewer steps, clear Bangla wording, and no unnecessary work pushed onto users.
Bangla and English usability
People who have to use a system deserve it in their own language. Bangla therefore leads in screens, documents and communication, while English is available wherever needed — such as document preparation or an English notice for guardians.
Bangla documentation and training material are kept for teachers and staff, so a new user needs less time to learn.
Two questions matter most to an institution: cost and risk. Which is why the entry path is kept easy: work can start today with the free products — Hazira Khata, Bidda Printer and Beton Boi — without any payment.
As needs grow there is a path to SchoolZee App, where full institution management comes together. Plans, student-count based pricing and billing are explained clearly on the pricing page and in the subscription policy.
For many institutions the work stalls right after purchase — because nobody takes responsibility for setup, data entry or getting teachers comfortable. This is exactly the step we invest in.
- Help understanding the institution's needs and selecting a suitable plan.
- A process for organising and entering initial student, class-section and staff data.
- Hands-on training for teachers and staff, in Bangla.
- Support after setup too — questions can be raised over email and WhatsApp.
When most of an institution's daily work lives in one system, there is no need for separate files, registers or scattered accounts.
- Student and admission information management.
- Attendance management — daily class-wise attendance and reports.
- Fee, due and collection records.
- Exam setup and result preparation.
- Class routine and notices or communication.
- Teacher and staff records with role-based permissions.
- Sharing information and updates with guardians.
Most software arrives to do one job. With SchoolZee the question is different: from a small classroom problem to full institution management, we cover the whole path — and each step can be used on its own too.
- Get used to one free tool first, then move to the whole system — there is no need to learn everything at once.
- Continuity between the free products and SchoolZee App is easier to follow, because all of them are built by the same company.
- Because guardians and teachers are part of the same product family, communication is simpler.
By support we mean being able to ask in Bangla, get an answer you can understand, and see the problem solved — not just a ticket sitting in a queue.
Email and WhatsApp are open for support, and usage guidance is kept in the help centre. However, we do not commit to specific response times in writing unless that is separately agreed in a contract.
Student and guardian data is sensitive, so this is where we have to be most careful. We only write about security and data-handling practices that genuinely exist; no certification or technical claim is made without verification.
- An institution's data stays with the institution — student lists, fees and attendance belong to the institution.
- Role-based permissions, so each person sees only the information they need.
- Data is not sold to anyone; third parties receive it only to operate the service or where the law requires it.
- How information is collected and used is written publicly on the privacy policy and data security pages.
Here we do things differently from many: without written permission from an institution we do not publish its name, logo, photographs or quotes — and we never write a quote ourselves and pass it off as a customer's.
Where a verified figure exists (such as the number of institutions or a rating) we will publish it properly. As such verified and approved figures are not available so far, no numbers are shown.
Compared with manual management
We do not compare ourselves by name with other software. What is genuinely relevant is the difference between scattered management today and one centralised system.
Registers are not useless — the problem is writing the same information again and again, losing time to build reports, and being late to inform guardians. A digital system relieves pressure in exactly these three places.
- In a register, information means flipping pages; in a system there is one searchable list.
- Accounts kept in separate books are hard to reconcile; in a system attendance and fees connect to the same underlying records.
- If one person is away, register updates fall behind; in a system it is visible who changed what.
- Scattered files mean several steps to build one report; in a system the report is ready to use.
