Getting started: free, and not a trial

Many products start with a trial — once the days run out, either access stops or payment starts. SchoolZee has no separate trial like that: institutions with up to 15 students can use the mobile app completely free, forever.

The reason is simple — an institution that can see for itself whether the system reduces its workload finds the decision much easier. That is why we recommend exploring the whole app first to understand what your institution needs, then choosing a plan.

The lifetime free tier: simple, clear conditions

The free tier is defined by student count — up to 15 students. It includes mobile app access and the core parts of the feature set, so an institution can understand how the system really works.

What is included in each plan

Features do not change from one plan to the next — student count and access do. Every paid plan carries the same complete feature set: student, teacher, attendance, routine, result, fee, communication, role-based access, cloud data management and backup.

Tiers are set by student count: 16–50 (Starter), 51–100 (Growth), 101–500 (Standard) and unlimited students (Unlimited).

Mobile or desktop — what you get

On the free plan, the mobile app is enough to run an institution's necessary management work — attendance, fees, results and communication all from a smartphone. A computer is not mandatory to run the institution.

Mobile app + desktop access is included on every paid plan, starting at 16 students. Desktop access is more comfortable for bulk entry, detailed reports and reviewing the whole institution's information in larger institutions.

Premium onboarding and setup support

Premium and higher-tier customers receive complete institution setup assistance from the SchoolZee team — including data import, configuration and onboarding support.

This is especially useful for institutions whose existing lists and records sit on paper or in scattered files — setup happens with our team's help, so starting the system is not a burden the institution carries alone.

Billing and invoices

Subscriptions are billed on a monthly cycle and all prices are in Bangladeshi Taka. Paid plans carry no expensive setup fee — the monthly price set by student count is what applies.

Upgrade, downgrade and cancellation

When student numbers rise or fall, changing plans becomes necessary — you can choose the plan that matches your student count. Moving from free to a paid plan adds desktop access, and stepping down from a paid plan keeps the same core feature set.

A subscription can be cancelled at any time — the billing cycle rules and how charges are handled are stated clearly in the subscription policy. Before cancelling, you are welcome to talk to us and work out which plan actually fits your institution.

Referral and partner programme

Recommendation matters a lot in education — institution heads often take advice from other institutions. That is why SchoolZee's structure includes a separate path for partners and referrals.
