Team structure: who is responsible for what
Every institution's question should have a definite destination. These divisions create that basis.
- Product — deciding which problem gets solved first and which later, and planning features.
- Engineering — building and maintaining the app and software, and fixing technical problems.
- Bangla content and localisation — interface language, documents, training material and guides.
- Onboarding and training — institution setup, initial data entry, and training teachers and staff.
- Support — usage questions, issues and help with an institution's daily work.
- Partnerships — discussions with institutions, referrals and collaborations.
Our policy on publishing team information
In Bangladesh many companies build trust with names, photographs and credentials — but for many staff members that raises personal privacy questions. We give priority to each person's consent, so no leadership photo or biography grid is published on the website.
Instead we provide what an institution genuinely needs to decide: who holds which responsibility, whom to contact, and who is authorised for verification. If an introduction is requested during procurement or partnership processes, we provide it.
How decisions are made
SchoolZee's product roadmap does not come from internal guesswork — it comes from real complaints and requests from institutions. Recurring questions arriving at the support team regularly go into product discussions.
Before any change we ask three questions: will this feature make an institution's real work easier? Will it be hard to learn to use? Does it create any privacy risk for data? When all three answers are satisfactory, work begins.
The principles we work by
The company's values take practical shape in the team's daily work — these five rules are applied most strictly to ourselves.
- Evidence over promises — we state information that can be verified.
- Listen to the institution's problem first, then propose a solution.
- Communication in Bangla — answers in the language of the person asking.
- Completing setup on time so an academic year's work is not interrupted.
- Care with user data — maximum caution around student and guardian information.
The process from first contact to live use is structured so nobody is left uncertain.
- First conversation: understanding institution type, student numbers and current practice.
- Demo: showing the relevant parts — not every feature, but the needed ones first.
- Proposal and decision: plan, cost and schedule explained clearly.
- Setup: organising data, creating users and assigning role-based permissions.
- Training: relevant sessions for teachers, accounts staff and administrators.
- Go-live and support: using the system, then ongoing help with questions and fixes.
This team's job is not only fixing issues — it is making sure an institution is genuinely able to use the system.
Support can be reached by email and WhatsApp. Specific response times or SLAs apply only when separately written into a contract.
Training and documentation
Buying software and using software are two different things. So we treat training and documentation with the same importance as the product.
- Usage guidance and help centre guides written in Bangla.
- Role-specific training — the work of a teacher, an accountant and an administrator differs.
- Learning material stays ready when a new teacher or staff member joins.
- Training is arranged around demand at the start of an academic year.
How the team grows
We grow the team as needs arise — work begins with a few people covering several responsibilities. When a new role is created it is defined by the work and by what institutions need.
No live vacancy notices or open-position lists are kept on this page; we do not want to create confusion with wrong or outdated information.
Information we do not publish
Transparency does not mean publishing everything. We have limits in some areas, and we state those limits openly.
- No team member's name, photo or credentials without consent.
- No invented awards, recognitions or figures.
- No institution's name or logo without permission.
- No self-written quotes attributed to customers.
